US Storage Centers Acquires Second Boston Area Self Storage Facility
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS | SEPTEMBER 2019 – US Storage Centers, a premier owner/operator of self storage facilities nationally, has acquired a 780 unit, 85,260-square-foot self storage facility located at 193 South Main Street in the Boston suburb of Middleton, Massachusetts. This is the firm’s second Boston area acquisition this year. In late May, it acquired a 445 unit, 34,116-square-foot self storage facility located at 115 Bacon Street in North Waltham, Massachusetts from Planet Self Storage.
“We are very excited to add this new Class-A asset to our portfolio here in Massachusetts,” said Charles Byerly, President and CEO of US Storage Centers. “We continue to be committed to building out our holdings in the greater Boston area and Massachusetts in general. We remain interested in looking at all opportunities in this market as well as all other major metros in the United States.”
Ideally located just off the Interstate 95 freeway, this facility features climate-controlled units, onsite moving carts, electronic gated access, video surveillance and passenger elevators.
